so there goes yet another week... it seems like time is really flying these days. i get caught up in the routines of life, but when i do decide to stop and thank the Lord, i can truly see that He has been good, all along.
sometimes i look at my life and think of it as a book. you know, like an autobiography. i can see the "breaks" in the story and i guess i consider them the chapters of life. i remember writing in my journal, "my real journal", about the end of yet another chapter i have come to. it was around May of this year, when the school yeat was coming to an end and i was about to see my friends go off to a far places. away from here. i remember thinking ahead about this semester and poder upon how different things are going to be this fall semester of 2001. well, this chapter of my life has been tough and difficult than the previous one, the college years. however, i thank God that i have this semester... i can't seem to put my finger on a reason that makes sense, but in a way, i think God is trying to prepare me for the next chapter of my life coming up.
i don't know what the title of next chapter will be. but i know one thing... God is good. i can truly look back and summarize every single chapter of my life, and it would all be the same. God is faithful.
and then it hits me... BAM!
whose story is this? this is not my story. this is not my book, and i'm not even the main character of it at all. God is the author and the main character of this book. the book of Life. the eternal life.
yeah, that's what it is... i knew it all along... but i forget sometimes... that i'm only an extra in this story... and God is the star.
i know one thing is for sure then... i know the ending of the story... and usually if you know the ending of a thriller, it's not really a thriller anymore, but the ending of this story is so beautiful and majestic that i would not have it any other way. and only because i know the ending, i live with a passion.
i don't know when that ending will arrive, but i know that these chapters that remain to be unfolded in my life will lead up to that ending...
so i sleep, and wait for the next page to be turned...
