so i haven't blogged in awhile. i don't even know if people read or go to my blog site anymore. but i just wanted to jot some stuff down.
i'm really getting used to the life in philadelphia. and so quickly that it scares me. i'm used to the weather. the way people drive here. all that ways of life that is "philly"... it's so weird. i don't wanna forget who i am. i am sorta scared of changing so much. i don't want people to say "dang, you changed alot!" the next time i go back to california. change is something that's inevitable i guess though. especially if you move 3000 miles away from what you are used to. but i still want to hold on to what i know. the comfortable things. friends. family. the life.
i really miss everyone. i think, to be honest, i miss my friends more than my family. i feel guilty saying that but it's true. i think i got used to not seeing my family for a time while i was in school. but i certainly do miss my friends... even people i wasn't really close to. i wonder what they are all doing right now?
i think i'm in this nostalgic mood b/c i won't be able to go back home this chirstmas. i didn't think it was gonna effect me this much but it is. i don't think i'm homesick. i'm ok. really. it's just i miss seeing old faces. some of the people from berkeley are coming to the east coast for their winter break. i try not to be, but it excites me to know that i'll see them one more time. i know i'm gonna do my best to be a good host... and i guess they'll thank me for that... but in reality, i need this more than you know. just to see those old familiar faces. i think God knows that i need this too.
so it's out! an invitation to all of you guys. come visit whenever you want. i'll do my best to be a good host. just gimme a call before you come, aight?
