man. what a week.
thanks to mel and jung, i did the whirl-wind tour of philly twice this week.
philly cheesesteak. liberty bell. independece hall. philadelphia museum of arts. rocky pose.... haha. what fun.
most philly people think that philly is really boring. well up to a certain point, i do agree with them, especially if you want to compare with other cities like NY or LA. but i think on its own, philly def. has its flavor. no, not just the taste of melting cheezwiz in your mouth... but history, arts, music, and beer. yeah baby~
go on and ask people who visited me in the last year or so... andy, dave shin, jung, mel, lem, izzie, sylvia, jamie, jomo... who else? haha. yeah not too many.
it's fun for me tho when ppl come visit cuz i get to do all the thing i've been wanting to do but couldn't do because the "real" philly ppl can't see philly as philly. i dunno. maybe i'm just really easily pleased. maybe that's my problem. i mean i wouldn't call it a problem at all. rather i would say that the opposite is. yeah maybe i'll miss out on the "best" because i tend to settle for the second best. it's just that i don't want to spend life looking. i want to enjoy life as it floats along... yeah, sometime i'll row over to the otherside to find out what else is out there, but for now let me be. you are welcome to hop on.
