philly cheese!
well, so the thanksgiving weekend has come and gone, and i'll be heading back to "cali" this afternoon. ahhh.... the weather here hasn't been what i expected or wanted to be. the temperature hovered around 50-70 degrees with some humidity. i kinda wanted to see snow fall... haha. people told me that it doesn't snow here until like january... instead, i've experinced some severe thunder storm last nite... "that would have been snow if it was about 30 degrees colder..." so close, yet so far...

well, this is my third time being in philly... and i know that great cities like nyc and DC is only a few hours drive, but i gotta give a shout out for philly. i was planning on going up to nyc to join in on the "FICNY" fun and all, but when i got here, i found out that one of my teammates from jordan was also coming down from boston to meet us and another one from baltimore as well. when i heard that polly, is coming down from boston, i decided to stay in philly and not go up to nyc. i mean, you don't have to question my love for y'all folks in nyc like roy and liz, kee in DC, or eecs daniel in philly (he went to nyc). I GOT MUCH LOVE FOR YA! but i think God has prepared this trip for this litte "jordan-reunion". i mean i really wanted to go up to nyc one more time and maybe see the site of 9.11, but i just fely like God had brought me here to have fellowship with those that i've learned to love while spending time in a "dry and barren land".

so, although people write off philly as being ghetto or boring, i really had a blast in this historic town with liberty bell and all...
last nite we had dinner in this italian resturant in south philly called, Dante & Luigi's. it is supposed to be run by the mafias of the town. i didn't believe them at first, but the resturant was located in the corner of this one shady alleyway with very dim lights, and once you enter inside, you can almost feel the tension in the air like in the mafia movies right before the shootout that follows... i felt like i was in God Father or something...

yeah, so i'm also alittle sad that i didn't get to see my family ( well, i got to spend some time with my uncle's family here and my little cusins though ) for thanksgiving, but i got to fellowship with the people that i love and renew my heart and vision for those that do not know. it was a time of blessings and alot of laughter as well...

ok, i'm ready to go back to california... see y'all very very soon.
