matt barnes is a sore loser.
one year ago, he spits on andy lee and david song. we won that game.
yesterday, he knocks down shantay legans hard to the ground at the end of a blow out against ucla (OVER RATED!) team.

the game was too crazy. i could totally see the annoiance of every ucla player of the noise level at hass pavillion. we dominated the ucla team who is supposedly one of the top teams in the nation (yeah, whatever...).

it was about 5 mins left in the 2nd half of the ball game. i think we were leading by nearly 20points. shantay legans drives past his defender and lobs the ball over to brian wethers... it was one of those plays where everyone's eyes are on the ball, enticipating a thunderous dunk... but whethers didn't time it right so the ball went right over the far reaches of his hand... and then a whistle. one Cal player down on the ground. almost the whole Cal bench gets up.
hatred feeled the whole place. i mean there was already a good level of hatred toward ucla in general anyways (they copied our color, mascot, fight songs... ). but matt barnes who betrayed his northern california roots (his from sac-town) knocks down one of cal's beloved senior.

anyways, we came back home feeling satisfied due to the blow out victory over hated ucla team but mixed with the sad and mad feeling towards what happened at the end of the game. man, they had the replay of the cheap shoot foul on ESPN, and i became more furious... i just couldn't believe he did that. i hope shantay is ok. we need the alien head point guard back for the USC game coming up this saturday.

watching michelle kwan lose her last chance at gold medal also broke my heart. i couldn't watch her performance with ease. every triple toe... we held out breathe... i could almost hear the whole country uh-ing when she tripped and fell... i wonder how hard it must be to be an olympian. especially to have to wait four years to show your best stuff under such a pressure. geny kept saying that alot of winter olympians work for home depot... maybe i should get a job there.

na, i don't think i can handle the pressure.
