baseball season is here... and it's gonna ge here for a while is each game runs over 4 hours long.
the witnessing of oakland A's beating up on the overrated texas rangers is worth it any time of the year. the oakland A's have one of the youngest players in the league and the rangers have the most paid player in the league. well, too bad for the rangers because Alex Rodrigues aka. A-Rod can't hit. his batting average = 0.000 for the season. he gets paid about $42,000 per-at-bat. yesterday's effort? A-Rod went 0-5 at bat. dude, i think my little cousin who is 2-years old can do better than that... ridiculous.
well, so it's great seeing A's thrash any team, but it's hundred times better when you get to enjoy the game with people you love. not the toilet roll throwing oakland fans, but people that you love, friends. i think that word gets thrown around alot and has lost it's true meaning over the years, but God blessed me with folks whom i can apply the truest meaning of that word. chin-goo, sounds funny in korean... haha.
it's been tough lately cuz alot of my friends have left the area recently and it's been getting tougher and tougher as the days go by to keep in touch with them. "out of sight, out of mind" may be true in some cases but i believe that this phrase is not completely true but rather it's made up as an excuse for being lazy. i'm a rebel when it comes to morphing everything good into some type of digitized e-everything stuff, but i think things like AIM and cell phones make it easier to keep in touch with folks who don't live walking distance. however, it doesn't solve the problem at all. these things are there as a means to improve on what we are already trying to do, that's all.
anyways, there are alot of stuff in my head... arghhh... so i don't have a single point i was trying to make. i digress like crazy. but one things for sure... all those things i mentioned above gets 100 fold better when the oakland A's game you are at is only.... ONE DOLLAR! haha... last nite's game was four hours long!!! so that means each hour costed each of us 25cents each!!! haha... call me cheap... call me whatever... trust me. nothing beats that.
i'm planning to hit up more games that are coming up later this month, so if you are down for some cheap thrills with me, the cheap guy, please let me know.
