man, they are working me at this job... well, i think that's what it is supposed to be, but after 4 years of "work-study" job, i'm not really used to this kinda environment. i got a long e-mail from winston about how he has no work ( i can tell by the length of your e-mail ), and all he does is read every article on ESPN, check e-mail 10,000 times a day, and read ppl's blogs... man, what a contrast. over here, my bosses are loading me up with daily projects, on-going project, back-up projects, and some real mindless data entry stuff just in case i'm thru with all the other projects. yeah, it's kinda bad, but there are few things i find here that gets me thru the day without pulling out all my hair and look like mr. potato head.

1) my boss' name is bono... like the U2 lead singer that martin worships. haha. well, my boss is a lady, and bono is her last name, so, it's mrs. bono to you.
2) our entire office is located on the 2nd floor of all the famous restuarants located on telegraph ave. beginning from mrs. field's cookies to fat slice pizza. my office is located right above tako sushi. no discounts though. shucks...
3) every morning when i'm trying to get started after a long commute from my house, i pump myself up by humming along that Enrique song that begins, "would you dance, if i asked you to dance..." no, i'm am not getting in touch with my feminen side like he is. however, because either tako sushi or fat slice boys begin their work day with that song every morning, i just can't get away from that tune. you really don't have control of your mind at 8am.
4) hanging by the door of everyroom is a key to the bathroom. it reminds me of the time when i was in elementary school. there was a big wooden stick with a big ugly writing "bathroom" written in it and a single key that meant freedom for about 5mins. from my teacher's nagging voice. i'm 23 years old working with othere people of various age, but that bathroom key works the same way. "only one person at a time", i can clearly hear my teacher's voice. that bathroom key is the freedom to the outside world for a moment, but for others it means suffering behind the closed doors. the worst thing about the key system? everyone knows how long you've been out there by noting the time from when the key was absent to when the key returns. kids learn from an early age that a #2 takes longer to take care of than #1.
