yesterday was the last sunday at the stinkin st. emy for kcpc...
i told myself i'm really glad to leave this stinkin place... and i really don't.
but looking back to the near 4 years i've been here, there were a lot of memories that took place here.
i remember seeing many people taking pictures on the stairs right outside of the santuary... i didn't want to be in any of those pictures for some reason, but instead i just stood at a distance and watched people's expressions. happy faces, sad faces, and of course "i'm tired so don't talk to me" faces.
last regualr awana for the rest of the school year. maybe last regular awana until we move to our own building. i can't believe that i've been involved in awana for so long. 5 years. yes, it is a long time, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing kids grow up as they learn about Christ. and i've seen many of my own kids grow up to be leaders in youth group... that's amazing.
after i returned home, i looked thru my picture albums from the past. i still remember the first "class picture" we took at st. emy. many things have changed since. and for me, both internal and external. many faces have moved on, and many faces have come since. sometimes i don't recognize myself in those pictures. i forget what i was thinking about back then. only few year back, but it seems so long ago...
those good old days... people say that often. i say that often. i miss them.
