i haven't written a meaningful blog in a long time (not that this one is going to be one), i think it was because i've just been too busy with finals lately.
it's weird for me to say that, "i'm done" and people ask me, "done, done?" and i say after hesitating alittle bit, "yeah.... done, done"
i dunno, that sounds kinda weird. not that i'm really shocked that i'm done, but more like, i was getting used to being a "fifth year student". i guess it's a pride thing. i hated that term, and i've only used it like twice to call myself that. and what's more is that there are people in the class below me that's "done done" too. they finished school a whole year faster than i did.
i remember last year when mikey finished school a semester early with some of the other guys in our class. it was weird, then, to think that i still had a whole year left to finish school. well, now that i'm finally done with school, i don't have the feeling that i thought i was gonna have.
i remember coming home... after a long day. i was feeling alittle different knowing that i will not walk the other way as a college student ever again. yeah, i was elated to be finally done! but at the same time, i felt really empty.
empty, not only because i've lost part of my identity, but also because i didn't have any strength to begin searching for the next thing in life. all the perks of being a student is gone now. once i was "a poor college student", but now i'm just poor. soon, enough i won't be allowed to go into the RSF, tang center, or even ride the bus for free.... haha... i guess i can go on forever about that topic, but i won't.
i really don't like to look at the dark side. i mean, THAT won't change anything. i gotta look at the bright side of all things. and right now, only bright thing in my life is.... JESUS. and, i'll admit that i'm having hard time looking at HIM. but i know, deep inside, that HE is the only bright thing in my life. and i'm so thankful that HE puts me in positions like this to come to that realization. cuz, nothing else matters. in this life and especially next.
so i gotta keep telling myslef that JESUS = light. whether i'm fifth year student at berkeley or 23rd year student in life, i know that i can be HIS son for eternity.
i've been just resting these days.
nothing exciting.
work alittle. pack alittle. eat, tv, sleep.
just takin' it easy for now. i need this break.
